“ART OBJECTS.” Without the search feature on this blog, I would repeat myself on the blog as often as I do in real life. I have checked and apparently I have never told this story before, which is somewhat surprising because I come out favorably in the story. I got home from work one evening to find Annalisa and Nick playing in the kitchen while Mary Jane was lying down upstairs. They excitedly showed me “art objects” that they had been making. The art objects were Ziploc bags filled with mixtures of water and water color paint. There were newspapers on the floor, but the art objects were scattered all over, some on the floor, some on the newspapers, some under the newspapers. It was a very cold day, and I had the inspiration of suggesting to the kids that it would be interesting to see what happened to the art objects if we put them outside and let them freeze. They thought that was a wonderful idea and we thought that we had put them all outside. In the event, there was only one art object for Mary Jane to step on when she came downstairs. My recollection is that the art object was pink.
