DOES BEAUTY MATTER?

DOES BEAUTY MATTER? Physical beauty should be irrelevant to a happy marriage. I reached this conclusion in my twenties as I grew older and wiser. I met Mary Jane on a blind date; we were introduced by friends. My friend Alan told me that his wife had three good friends, and that I could meet one of them. He started to describe each of them. I told him that I didn’t want to know what they looked like because I had come to the realization that beauty isn’t important in looking for a wife. Based on what he told me, I asked to meet Mary Jane, without having any idea what she looked like. The irony is that Mary Jane is beautiful. People who hear this story always point out that Mary Jane is beautiful. I don’t think that this disproves the theory.

Congratulations, Mom & Dad. I can’t believe I forgot when I was speaking to you yesterday.
