DYLAN THOMAS—100 YEARS. Dylan Thomas was born 100 years ago today. Kids, in the 1950’s, recordings of Thomas reciting his poem were electrifying, something that students played when they got together. He had a beautiful voice and a formal style from a time when poetry was frequently spoken.
