TWO PHILOSOPHICAL JOKES. Here are two philosophical jokes that I liked from the Marginal Revolution site. The first is from Tyler Cowan:
Jean-Paul Sartre is sitting at a French cafe, revising his draft of Being and Nothingness. He says to the waitress, “I’d like a cup of coffee, please, with no cream.†The waitress replies, “I’m sorry, Monsieur, but we’re out of cream. How about with no milk?â€
The second is from George in the comments (June 26 at 11:18 am):
Rene Descartes is sitting in a cafe. He orders coffee. The waiter asks, “Would you like cream?†Descartes replies,â€I think not!†… and Descartes disappears.
