ANOTHER ECONOMIST LOOKS AT CHRISTMAS.

ANOTHER ECONOMIST LOOKS AT CHRISTMAS. I posted here about SCROOGENOMICS. An article in the weekend Wall Street Journal tells stories about the tightfistedness of some economists. One story: the wife of the incoming president of the American Economic Association says: “Bob doesn’t see why we can’t just hire people to trim the Christmas tree. I tell him that’s not what it’s supposed to be about.”
