ANOTHER VALENTINE THOUGHT.

ANOTHER VALENTINE THOUGHT. When I was young and unmarried, I read E.M. Forster’s opinion in ASPECTS OF THE NOVEL that the novel tends to focus on a person’s love life even though on the whole nobody thinks of love as much as two hours a day. But suppose love for another pervades and defines a life so that those two hours are the sum of all the flickerings and recurrences of thoughts of love throughout the day?
