    This is a theory I’m happy to subscribe to! Why shun bread and pasta and all those fun foods when you could just play 2 hours of tennis several times a week? Plus whatever else you need to do to get more active. It’s so much more fun to do physical activity than to go on a restrictive diet.

    That said, I’ve read that many people tend to overestimate the amount of calories they’ve burned and underestimate how many calories they’re taking in. So for example, they do an hour of exercise and, say, burn 200 calories, but then they have a 400-calorie milkshake as a reward. Oops!
