UPDATE – PROUST WAS A NEUROSCIENTIST HAS BEEN PUBLISHED. This is a good time to update some of the posts from the last year. Jonathan Lehrer’s book PROUST WAS A NEUROSCIENTIST has been published, as he announced on his blog. I had posted on how some of Daniel Gilbert’s book on behavioral psychology had reminded me of some of Proust’s psychological laws, including Proust’s analysis of how people cannot accurately predict how they will feel about future experiences. I then discovered that Jonathan Lehrer was going to publish a book on the subject based on his expert knowledge. I posted on my impressions and on the forthcoming book in January here and here. I will be buying Lehrer’s book.
