COCKABOODY. Annalisa found on Reddit this link to a Youtube video of Cockaboody. Cockaboody is an animation by John and Faith Hubley with the voices of their preschool daughters (Georgia and Emily), evidently recorded while they were playing. Our family loved it when Annalisa and Nick were young and treasure it now that is available on the internet. It’s an astonishingly accurate portrayal of the lives of very young children. Some of the lines—“You have a cockaboody in your nose!” and “Throw it in the garbage!” were and are often repeated in our household.

I would like to note that a Reddit user kindly provided the link after looking it up for me when I posted a comment saying I didn’t know how to find the video again. I was touched by the kindness of a stranger who had nothing to gain by searching it out for me other than the satisfaction of doing a good deed. I feel like updating my thank-you comment to say how much my whole family is enjoying it!
