DIPLOMATIC MURDERS–TWELVE YEARS LATER. In the first week of this blog, I posted here on the murder by Russia of a Russian dissident in London by means of radioactive poisoning and the efforts that were being made “to prevent the case from becoming an international incident.” I said: “There are some things that can’t be ignored without making a statement about what is permissible.”
And here we are. A former Russian spy and his daughter (the Skripals) have been poisoned in Salisbury. They have survived but a British citizen has died from touching the poison.
