SNOOKER AND WOMEN’S INTERNATIONAL DARTS. There was a time before we had children when Mary Jane and I vacationed in Britain. We would come back to our hotel tired. Twice, I insisted on staying up to watch British sports on our room television set. Once it was snooker and once it was international women’s darts. I wanted to see how the games would turn out. I didn’t know the rules of either sport. Mary Jane refers to international women’s darts occasionally in connection with my interest in any sporting event. She says that the events confirmed to her that she never wanted to have a television set in her bedroom.
