A LIMERICK ABOUT COMMUNISM BY AN HISTORIAN OF COMMUNISM. Robert Conquest, a great historian of Russian Communism, has died. He was also a poet and limerick writer. This Guardian article publishes some of Conquest’s limericks, including this one about Communism:

“There was a great Marxist named Lenin
Who did two or three million men in.
