SOME PROBLEMS DON’T GET BETTER. I knew and esteemed Michael Rebell over thirty years ago when he was leading the legal fight for equity in school financing. He has continued the fight throughout his legal career and this article describes how he is still leading the fight. The problem of education in inner city schools was a huge problem a generation ago. It is still a huge problem. And there is no agreement on what to do about the problem. This article shows that there is not even agreement that more money will help.
