JONATHAN LEAF, THE GERMANS IN PARIS. We had the good fortune to see THE GERMANS IN PARIS in New York. We had seen Leaf’s PUSHKIN earlier and are eager to see anything he writes. Terry Teachout gave THE GERMANS IN PARIS a favorable review in the Wall Street Journal, and the theater was full. Witty and entertaining. I will look at Marx and Richard Wagner differently from now on. (Heinrich Heine is also a main character, but I had no opinion of him that could be changed.)
