COSAGACH.

COSAGACH. I have posted several times, including here about the Danish concept of “hygge, the kind of cosiness…that can only be found inside ‘when set against a real or metaphorical cold world outside.’”

Annalisa sent me this report by Nora Taylor about cosagach (pronounced “KO-sa-goh”), which is “an old Scottish word for feeling snug, sheltered and warm”.

Winter begins in a few days, and I will try to bear in mind that cold weather makes hygge and cosagach possible.
