A CHILD’S PET ANTS. From when she was very young, Annalisa badly wanted a pet but had to wait until she was six for her and Nick to get their cats Moonlight and Midnight. We knew that she wanted a pet when she was younger because she found an anthill in the yard and referred to the ants as “Lassies”. She also brought home a pail of snails from the beach with the idea of having pet snails. Unfortunately, the snails soon died.
