THE SONNET PROJECT OF THE NEW YORK SHAKESPEARE EXCHANGE.

THE SONNET PROJECT OF THE NEW YORK SHAKESPEARE EXCHANGE. Today is Shakespeare’s birthday.

Stuart Miller had an article in the New York Times (April 5) about the Sonnet Project of the New York Shakespeare Exchange. The Sonnet Project is making a short video for each of Shakespeare’s 154 sonnets, each with a voice over of somebody reading one of the sonnets with a visual set in an appropriate part of New York City. (link here to each of the sonnets, a majority of which have been filmed). For example, Sonnet 46 is thought to be legalistic so the video for Sonnet 46 (link here) is set in the New York State Supreme Court building in Foley Square, Manhattan.
