CHECKING A SAMPLE OF THE NBA’S REPORTS ON REFEREEING. I decided to look at the NBA’s new reports on every call in the last two minutes of close games. I posted here about the NBA’s new policy. I chose the games of Sunday March 15. Here is the report, which was to be issued by five p.m. on March 16. That report has a link to the archive of all previous reports.
There were three close games on Sunday.
The report on the Rockets/Clippers game shows that there were 16 decisions made by the referees and one of them was incorrect.
The report on the Bulls/Thunder game shows that there were 13 decisions made by the referees and one of them was incorrect.
The report on the Nuggets/Pelicans game shows that there were 17 decisions made by the referees and four of them were incorrect.
In total, there were 46 decisions made by the referees and 6 of them were incorrect.
