WOULD ROCK PAPER SCISSORS BE MORE RANDOM IF “ROCK” WERE CALLED “A”, AND PAPER AND SCISSORS WERE CALLED “B” AND “C”?

WOULD ROCK PAPER SCISSORS BE MORE RANDOM IF “ROCK” WERE CALLED “A”, AND PAPER AND SCISSORS WERE CALLED “B” AND “C”? Do the names we attach to the moves in rock paper scissors make a difference. I wonder. The percentage differences in the popularity of the moves (with rock, for example, being chosen more frequently than scissors) would seem to come from some visualization of an aggressive move with a rock. I find it hard to imagine a preference for one letter over another.

On the other hand, even with more neutral names for the moves, I would think that the reluctance to play the same move three times in a row would persist.
