“MY NEXT QUESTION WAS GOING TO BE….” I have checked the archives for this blog, and I don’t seem to have posted on this war story from the Harvard Law School of 40 years ago. This happened while I was at the school; it’s not an urban legend. Law professor calls on a student (cold, of course). Student answers. Professor says: “That’s not a good answer to the question that I just asked. But it’s a very good answer to the next question I was going to ask. My next question was going to be: What is the stupidest possible answer to the question that I just asked.”
