ANOTHER LANDMARK EVENT. Early in the discussion of whether Mike Trout or Miguel Cabrera should be the American League MVP, I e mailed Nick that his arguments had changed my mind and I had switched my vote from Cabrera to Trout. Nick wrote back:
“I think this may be the first time in my entire life that I’ve changed your mind about something.” I think that Nick influences my opinions all the time, but it still seems to be a landmark worth noting on a paterfamilias blog.
