THE CLOUD OF THE MONTH FOR JULY. I was happy to see Martin Amis remarking on how pretty New York skies are. I expressed the view here that “when we look at landscapes we too often ignore the skies which are part of the scene.” That post was about the Cloud Appreciation Society, which has posted its Cloud of the Month for July on its site. It’s a wonderful sky in the Netherlands.
