STILL HUNTING THE MISSING SIX HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS. Ten days after MF Global filed for bankruptcy, they can’t find the six hundred million dollars that are missing from the accounts of MF Global. Scott Patterson and Aaron Lucchetti have an article in the Wall Street Journal (November 11) that quotes a commissioner at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission that: “Their books are a disaster.” the chief executive of the company that considered doing a deal with MF Global during the weekend before the Monday bankruptcy says: “”I always knew the records were in shambles, but I didn’t know to what extent.”
