WEIGHING THE ARGUMENTS ON REPRODUCTIONS (COMMENT). I was going to weigh the arguments pro and con on reproductions, but Margo’s comment (here) expresses my thoughts better than I would have. Even for paintings that are accessible to me in the museums in New York, I think I will be looking at the Google art project reproductions both before and after my trip to the city to see the originals. My nephew Andrew called my attention to the Google art project site. I’m thrilled by it. Thanks, Andrew.
