LOOKING BACK FROM MY SIXTIES. Kids, I feel I should tell you about how I would answer the question suggested by yesterday’s post. My experience indicates that you don’t have to agonize over many of the daily decisions you make. Do I have regrets because I didn’t realize what I would value when I was older? I am aware that one can regret delaying gratification, and I treasure the happy memories that I have accumulated. Nevertheless, you should know that I don’t have major regrets over choices I have made. That is, if I could do it over again, I wouldn’t do much differently, mainly because I would not want to forgo knowing the people I know.
