A RESCUE BY A STRANGER.

A RESCUE BY A STRANGER. I have posted several times, including here, on how much random acts of kindness move me. My family, knowing how sentimental I am, will understand why I was moved by the ending of Krishna’s story. After 53 hours of wandering, she encountered some one who asked her, “Are you OK?”—and the person asked her in Hindi, her second language. It was a cab driver who sensed that she seemed to be in trouble. He took her to the Nepalese neighborhood in Queens. When she recognized where she was, she got out of the cab and walked home.
