Perhaps serial killers also have happy memories of their crimes and other things. We're enjoying two weeks of sun and low 80s in Sweden. But I've also been reading English translations of gory Swedish detective novels, including Henning Mankel, Stieg Larsson and lately Åke Edwardson. Hence my cynical response!
