CHILDREN SHOWING PARENTS HOW TO DO THINGS.

CHILDREN SHOWING PARENTS HOW TO DO THINGS. My father, who was born in 1903, adjusted reasonably well to the technological changes in his lifetime. An exception was in tuning a radio (or, later, a television set). Many a time he asked one of the kids to get the ball game for him on the radio. Now, Mary Jane and I rely on the kids for help with the computer and the digital camera and cellphones. (Annalisa and Lee Bryant gave me this blog. I still call for help from time to time). When Nick left for college, he said, encouragingly, in regard to the computer, “I give you a month.” We made it through three weeks.
