		<description>People may complain about Rowling&#039;s overuse of adjectives, adverbs, and italicized writing (I&#039;ve seen all these criticisms), but I think it&#039;s undoubtedly clear that she can write a page-turner.  This is a skill that goes unsung by critics and English professors, in my experience.  I believe that effective plotting should be applauded.  As an aspiring writer myself, I find it difficult to create a plot that thrums along at a pace that makes the reader want to keep up.  And if readers aren&#039;t interested in finishing your book, what use is it?

I can only hope that plotting is not an inborn skill, because I really want to learn it myself.</description>
